Doug Clark, Jr., DDS
 Even after more than 30 years in practice, Dr. Clark continues to learn. He strongly believes in continuing education, and stays informed about the latest developments in dentistry to provide the best care possible to his patients. A graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry, Dr. Clark has received advanced training at the The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He frequently participates in continuing education programs, and often reads about the latest dentistry developments in professional journals.
Dr. Clark received the Children’s Dentistry Award for his work with children at the Oneida Indian Clinic. He is firmly committed to delivering top quality care. His dedication to providing excellent treatment to his patients, while caring for them as individuals, is the cornerstone of his work.
When not at the office, Dr. Clark enjoys boating, camping, motorcycles, and a great game of golf.

Doug Clark, III, DDS
 Dr. Clark attended Marquette University School of Dentistry, and has also received advanced cosmetic dentistry training at the The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (link). Although he is highly skilled and experienced with the latest techniques, he still strives to expand his skill set by attending continuing education programs. Dr. Clark believes in devoting personal attention to his patients, and is committed to giving them top quality treatment.
He grew up in Superior, and enjoys such hobbies as camping, fishing, hunting, golf, playing hockey, coaching youth hockey, baseball, and football when outside of the office.

Pam
Pam has been a valued member of the Hill Avenue Dental team since 2000. She earned her dental assisting certification and registration from Duluth Business University, in Minnesota. Pam enjoys working with patients and helping to make each patients visit to the dental office the best it can be. Pam brings her pleasant personality to the office everyday and says, “Its just as easy to be happy it just makes for a better day!” In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, playing volleyball, and most of all spending time with her husband and two children. |
 Candice
We are pleased to welcome Candice to the team at Hill Avenue Dental as a Dental Assistant. She joined our practice in October of 2006. Candice grew up in Brule, WI and has been a patient of Dr. Clark's for the past 18 years. Candice states, "Being a patient of Dr. Clark's, I was able to experience firsthand how committed Dr. Clark is to providing the highest level of dental care to his patients. Now that I have chosen dentistry as my profession, I am excited to be a part of his team that has placed such a high priority on providing excellent dentistry."
Candice graduated Valedictorian of her dental assisting class at Duluth Business University in 2001. She is Registered Dental Assistant and has assisted for one year in California and for the past three years in Madison, WI prior to moving back to his area. She is certified nationally by the Dental Assisting National Board. In her time away from the office, Candice enjoys reading, playing with her dogs, snowboarding and riding dirt bikes. |

Cindy G.
Dr. Clark, Jr., encouraged a young Cindy to pursue her ambition to become a hygienist. He also advised her that she had to be “one of the best in her class” to work at Hill Avenue Dental. She has been a valued member of our team ever since she graduated high in her Dental Hygiene class at the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 1986. “I am proud to be a part of a team that is committed to giving our patients the highest quality of care, through continuing education and state of the art techniques.” When Cindy is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, attending their sporting events, playing volleyball and cheering for the Green Bay Packers. |
 Raula
Raula joined the Hill Avenue Dental team in 1994. She is a 1976 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth, with an A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene, B.A.S. Degree in Health Education, and graduate studies in Education and Technology. Raula is also an instructor at the Dental Hygiene Program of Lake Superior College. She is a past President of the Minnesota Dental Hygienists’ Association, a member of several professional organizations and frequently presents continuing education workshops for practicing hygienists and assistants. Raula says she “appreciates getting to know each patient and treating them with care, thoroughness and professionalism.” Away from the office and school, she volunteers at the Lake Superior Community Dental Clinic. Raula enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, golf and outdoor adventures.

Denise
Denise has been a dental hygienist since graduating from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 1981 and continues to find her profession very rewarding. Denise is a highly valued member of the team, always taking a personal interest in our patients and their families. She has lived and practiced dental hygiene in Minnesota, California, Michigan and Wisconsin, and joined the Hill Avenue Dental team in 1996. Denise is the proud mom of two college-aged children and frequently joins her husband in many Red Cross activities. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for her church and has been involved with Girl Scout leadership for many years. |

Gerry
Gerry has been an integral part of the Hill Avenue Dental team since 1992. She enjoys her work, and has been a very dedicated employee from day one. Gerry is proficient in helping our patients maximize their insurance benefits. Her attention to detail and the accuracy of her work is appreciated by her coworkers and patients. Currently she is semi-retired, working part time and filling in when she is needed. In her time off she enjoys reading, working puzzles, music, walking and spending time with family. She also enjoys traveling with her husband. |

Paula
Every good team needs a great quarterback—ours is Paula! As our patient and scheduling coordinator, Paula makes your first contact with our office a pleasant experience. Paula brought years of dental experience to Hill Avenue Dental when she joined in 1997. Paula is very efficient and dedicated to quickly making our patients feel like part of the family. During her free time, Paula and her husband enjoy boating and fishing on Lake Superior. They also enjoy dining out and quiet times at home, except NFL football Sundays when she cheers for the Packers and he cheers for the Vikings! |
 Michele
Michele has recently joined the team at Hill Avenue Dental in September 2006 as a Dental Assistant. She became a certified Dental Assistant in 1993 through the "Oklahoma Board of Registered Dentists", in Oklahoma City, OK. She obtained a B>S> in Broad Field Science from UW-Superior in 2005, with a minor in Geographic Information Systems. Michele feels, "after being a patient of Dr. Clark's for several years, I knew that if given the opportunity, this was a team I wanted to be a part of. The professionalism, high quality workmanship, and the caring friendly staff, revived my passion for dentistry and for helping others."
In her time away from the office, Michelle enjoys sharing benefits of botanically based Swiss skin care as an Airbonne Independent Consultant, as well as spending time with her husband, young son, and family and friends. |
